Do you spend day after day trying to stop that little voice in your head? You know, the one that keeps saying you can’t do the things that you want to do?

That little voice can be so annoying and many of us think there is nothing we can do to stop it. However, after a few conversations with Steve Kushman, I have discovered that we can control our inner voices! Steve is the owner of Steve Kushman Productions Inc and he offers what is known as the Little Voice Mastery.

According to Steve, the conscious part of our brain only accounts for between two and ten percent. The other ninety percent or more is considered our subconscious, which is also our inner voice. Whether you are currently a bookkeeper, a bookkeeper growing their business, or a business owner hiring bookkeepers you are going to experience this little voice.

What We Normally Hear from Our Inner Voice
There are many things that we normally hear from our inner voice. A few examples include:

When you begin to hear these things, you must acknowledge them. You must also acknowledge your little voice and accept the fact it is only trying to protect you. You can never eliminate your inner voice, but you can learn how to control it. Once you learn how to do that, you can finally move forward and make progress with the goals you are setting in place.

Instead of letting your inner voice hinder you, you should use it to catapult you into moving forward. This may sound difficult, but it is achievable with a few little voice techniques.

Two Little Voice Techniques
There are 21 different little voice techniques that you can use, but I am focusing on two of them here…

1.) Celebrate ALL Wins
Most of the time, we all look at our to-do list with disdain. Even when we cross an item or two off, the other ten, fifty, or million items are right there staring back at us! Steve says that not celebrating the wins you have will cause your energy to drop. The only way to keep your energy levels high, and make them even higher, is to celebrate even the smallest things. And to increase your energy, even more, you should celebrate other peoples’ wins too.

2.) Anchor in Your Wins
While celebrating your wins is easy, those wins do not last too long. This is where anchoring in your wins can be very helpful. If you are starting to have a bad day, you can easily access the energy you received from past celebrations if you anchored them.

An easy way to anchor your win is to slap the wins into your right hand with your left hand. Once all of your wins are in your right hand, you close it into a fist, say 1, 2, 3, yes, and do a good old-fashioned fist pump!

You can easily practice these two techniques and apply them to your daily routines. Each of the 21 techniques can be applied to your specific needs and can be done during the time of the day you need them the most. Steve’s Little Voice Mastery class will have you learning how to control your little voice in thirty seconds or less, so you can even sign up for that if you are really interested in controlling your little voice for good.
